Daryl's got this new workout routine, been tellin us all we oughta be doin this. He lifts his jeans by the suspenders ten times and then tells us he's worked out. The way he figures it his jeans weighs 10 pounds with all his stuff in them (I guess he weighed them), so if he lifts them ten times then he's lifted 100 pounds. He's goin around sayin he lifts 100 pounds each day because he does this. Somehow I don't think we'll be seein muscles on Daryl any time soon from this kind of workout. Funny thing, one of the kids that comes in after school brought in a 100 pound barbell, and Daryl couldn't even get it 2 inches off the floor. The kid picked it right up and curled it five or six times. Daryl got real mad and said he wasn't really tryin to lift it up, he was just testin the feel of the bar for when he lifts it up for real. He was even tellin the kid how to curl it with a better form (notice I said "tellin", but not "showin") Daryl's always got some lame excuse but we all know he's a skinny runt, and he's just gonna have to own up to that.

After we busted out the beer Daryl spent a couple of hours tellin this kid about how he could have easily lifted that barbell but just wasn't ready to right then. Sure Daryl. The kid didn't buy it neither.
